Compatiguru Is for Adults Only

You must be at least 18 years old to create or maintain a Compatiguru account or use the registered-user portions of the Services.

By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

Individuals under 18 may not misrepresent their age or use another person’s information or account to gain access to Compatiguru.

If we determine that an account is being used by a person under 18, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate the account and take other appropriate steps consistent with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

Why Compatiguru Is 18+

Compatiguru explores compatibility, relationships, attraction, communication, personal development, affinity, and other aspects of interpersonal relationships. As a result, users may encounter mature relationship themes or discussions intended for adults.

Depending on the features being used and information voluntarily provided by users, the Services may include discussions or interpretations relating to romantic relationships, attraction, intimacy, emotional dynamics, dating, or other mature subjects.

Compatiguru’s 18+ requirement reflects the nature of these experiences and our decision to design the interactive Services for adults rather than minors.

Platform Age Ratings

Application marketplaces and distribution platforms may assign their own age or content ratings to the Compatiguru application under their respective rating systems.

Those ratings may differ by platform, jurisdiction, or version of the application and may change as platform standards or Compatiguru features evolve.

Regardless of any marketplace rating, Compatiguru’s own minimum age for account holders and registered-user Services is 18.

Mature Themes

Compatiguru may present or facilitate content involving mature relationship themes. These may include discussions of attraction, romantic compatibility, intimacy, relationship dynamics, boundaries, communication, and other subjects commonly associated with adult relationships.

Mature themes do not eliminate our content and conduct standards. Content or behavior that is exploitative, unlawful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise prohibited by this policy or our Terms of Use is not permitted merely because Compatiguru is an adults-only service.

Sexual Content and Nudity

Compatiguru is not a pornography service, and its relationship-oriented or mature themes do not constitute permission to use the Services for unlawful or exploitative sexual content.

Users may not use Compatiguru to create, upload, request, distribute, promote, or facilitate sexual content involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, sexual exploitation, trafficking, or other unlawful sexual material.

Content or conduct that violates applicable law, our Terms of Use, or the standards described in this policy may be removed or restricted, and associated accounts may be subject to enforcement.

Zero Tolerance for Sexual Exploitation of Minors

Compatiguru prohibits child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, grooming of minors for sexual purposes, sexual solicitation involving minors, and any attempt to use the Services to facilitate or promote such conduct.

Users may not upload, transmit, request, possess, distribute, link to, or otherwise facilitate prohibited material involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor.

We may remove such material, restrict or terminate accounts, preserve relevant information when legally appropriate, and make reports to law enforcement or other appropriate authorities where required or permitted by applicable law.

Consent and Boundaries

Respect for another person’s boundaries is required when using Compatiguru.

You may not use the Services to pressure, threaten, manipulate, intimidate, or coerce another person into romantic, sexual, financial, or other interactions.

Access to another person’s profile, compatibility information, shared material, or communication does not imply consent to contact, intimacy, disclosure, or any activity outside the Services.

Users are responsible for respecting the choices and boundaries of the people with whom they interact.

Harassment, Threats, and Abuse

You may not use Compatiguru to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, blackmail, extort, abuse, or deliberately target another person for harm.

Prohibited behavior may include repeated unwanted contact, credible threats, coercive conduct, malicious disclosure of private information, or using Compatiguru features to facilitate abuse or harassment.

Disagreement, incompatibility, rejection, or the end of a relationship does not justify harassment or retaliation.

Hateful and Discriminatory Conduct

Compatiguru may not be used to promote unlawful discrimination, targeted dehumanization, threats, or hateful abuse directed at people on the basis of legally protected characteristics.

This standard does not prohibit respectful discussion of identity, personal preferences, relationships, cultural differences, or compatibility. It prohibits using the Services as a vehicle for targeted hatred, abuse, or unlawful discriminatory conduct.

Private and Shared Content

Compatiguru may provide features through which users can choose to share information or content with another person or make content available through private, limited-access, request-based, or similar experiences.

Users should share only content they have the right to share and that they are comfortable making available to the intended recipient.

Private or limited access does not guarantee that a recipient will not retain, capture, reproduce, or further distribute content outside Compatiguru. For example, a recipient may be able to take a screenshot or use another device to capture information.

Never use private or shared features to distribute another person’s intimate, confidential, or private material without an appropriate right or permission to do so.

Information About Other People

Certain Compatiguru features may allow a user to provide information about another person for compatibility or related purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate basis to provide and use another person’s information. Compatiguru may not be used to obtain, expose, exploit, or misuse another person’s personal information.

A compatibility analysis or other output concerning another person does not establish that the other person has joined Compatiguru, consented to interact with you, endorsed the analysis, or agreed to any relationship or communication.

Compatibility and Personalized Guidance

Compatiguru may provide compatibility information, personalized observations, relationship-oriented guidance, affinity information, and other interpretive outputs.

These experiences may use automated systems and artificial intelligence. They are designed for informational, personal exploration, and entertainment purposes and should not be treated as authoritative determinations about another person or relationship.

Compatiguru does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other regulated professional advice. Users remain responsible for their own decisions, communications, relationships, and actions.

Impersonation and Deception

Users may not impersonate another person, falsely claim another person’s identity, materially misrepresent who they are for fraudulent or harmful purposes, or create accounts intended to deceive or exploit other users.

You may not use another person’s photographs, personal information, or identity in a manner that violates their rights or applicable law.

Commercial Exploitation and Scams

Compatiguru may not be used to conduct fraud, financial scams, extortion, deceptive solicitation, trafficking, or other unlawful commercial activity.

Users should exercise appropriate judgment when interacting with people they do not know and should be cautious about requests for money, financial information, account credentials, or other sensitive information.

Reporting and Blocking

Where reporting or blocking tools are available within the Services, users may use those tools to report conduct or content they believe violates our standards and to limit unwanted interactions.

Users may also contact support@compatiguru.com regarding safety concerns or suspected violations.

Reports should be made in good faith. Knowingly submitting false or abusive reports to harass another user or manipulate enforcement processes may itself violate our standards.

Review and Enforcement

We may review reports, content, account information, and other relevant information when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected violations, protect users or the Services, comply with law, or enforce our Terms and policies, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Depending on the circumstances, we may remove or restrict content, limit access to features, issue warnings, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve information, or take other appropriate action.

Enforcement decisions may consider factors such as the nature and severity of the conduct, available context, repeated violations, risks to users or the Services, and applicable legal obligations.

Immediate Safety and Emergencies

Compatiguru is not an emergency service and does not provide emergency monitoring or emergency response.

If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency services or law-enforcement authorities.

Do not rely on Compatiguru, compatibility information, personalized guidance, reporting tools, or other features as a substitute for emergency assistance.

Privacy and Personal Information

Safety features and enforcement may involve the processing of account information, User Content, reports, communications, device or technical information, and other information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our collection, use, disclosure, retention, and deletion of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Age & Safety Policy as Compatiguru evolves, our safety practices change, or legal or platform requirements develop.

When we make changes, we will update the effective date and provide any additional notice required by applicable law.
